I hope to add pictures of the progress here at our money-pit.  The work all done by my husband and I am the helper. This has been in the process for the last 5years, mostly undoing the bad stuff that has been done to the poor place.

(this was last winter) Glen and I were chopping wood last weekend, he runs the chainsaw and while he does that I play at chopping.  This thing is so heavy it does most of the work.   Don't worry about the chicken in the back ground !  She is fine, they look for the bugs that fall from the wood because it was a badly eaten tree when we had it taken down.  Again we love our trees but this was a hazard because of the rotten limbs and we had it taken down because of the huge size.  We have to do some sort of cutting every weekend to keep up with having wood to burn.  Most of it starts in the early summer.

Here is Emmy and her baby, hatched today the 19th of May.  She has tried for 2 years and finally she did it and Flipper the father helped a little !  Maybe there will be more !

The idea here is to offer good antiques and share a bit of what we are trying to do here with the restoration of the 250 year old house.  We also have many animals mostly with feathers.  As for the antiques, times are tuff and we will do our best to hunt for the best prices and best shipping as well.

Can you believe these from the garden which I thought we would never have any spring ??  And it is still far cry from being nice !  It better hurry our fall starts prompt in Sept.
